The three propositions named in the district’s proposal layout upgrades to campus security measures, renovations to school facilities and technology improvements. Voter Guide: What you need to know ahead of the May 2023 local elections Prop A is the most expensive proposition listed in the proposal, at the cost of $698.33 million. PIKE COUNTY, Mo. - A tornado watch has been issued in Pike County, Missouri, about an hour and a half north of St. Louis. The watch currently lasts until 2 a.m.During a tornado watch, atmospheric conditions are favorable for a tornado to develop, but a tornado has not yet been sighted or indicated by weather radar.Storm chances continue to be messy Saturday night into Sunday, particularly around midnight for counties in northern Missouri. ST. LOUIS - One man has died, and another man is hurt after a shooting Saturday evening in north St. Louis.The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Destrehan Street in the Hyde Park neighborhood. Top Story: Two hurt in another shooting on Cherokee Street as festival ends When police arrived, one victim was found not conscious or breathing. The other was privately taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are handling the investigation.Additional details are limited. WASHINGTON - Fallen St. Louis firefighter Benjamin Polson was honored Saturday evening by the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.Polson's name has now been inscribed on a bronze plaque that is part of the memorial in Washington D.C. A woman is fighting for her life on Saturday after being struck by a hit-and-run driver who crashed through an apartment building in Santa Ana.The woman was identified as 32-year-old Ayoleone Bufkin, a Fullerton resident. Bufkin has undergone multiple surgeries since the devastating crash.“It’s so hard to even put into words,” said Roland Gonzalez, Bufkin’s father. “It’s just unfathomable. She’s such a good girl. She’s with her family and her partner just minding her own business and something like this happens.”On Monday, officers responded to an apartment complex on the 1500 block of Memory Lane around 10:20 p.m., according to the Santa Ana Police Department.When police arrived, they discovered a minivan driver had slammed into the first-floor apartment while Bufkin was relaxing on the couch.
