1 Colorado city among top cities millennials are moving to, study says

(KTLA) – When it comes to the top 10 places millennials moved to the most in 2022, cities in Texas and California take up nearly half of the list, according to a recent study from Smart Asset.Researchers at the financial technology company looked at 268 cities included in the 2022 U.S. Census Bureau 1-Year American Community Survey to determine where millennials were moving to the most.The study defines millennials as adults between the ages of 25 and 44. Here are the states with the highest average student debt Overall, Census Bureau estimates found that roughly 8.2 million people moved between states in 2022, up from 7.9 million in 2021. DENVER (KXRM) — The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center (CWWC) is holding a naming contest for the first wolves who will be reintroduced to their original native historical range. Middle schoolers from grades 5-8 will pick from a list of potential names to select a winner.According to the CWWC, it’s believed the last wild wolf part of an established population was killed in 1945. The CWWC believes that the children of Colorado should have the opportunity to be a part of reintroducing a once-native species. CWWC decided that middle school children encompassing grades 5-8 would be the perfect age group for this project. Students will choose from a list of 14 potential names for the wolves. They will have access to an educational script and the rules for the contest. Each student will have the opportunity to vote once for their favorite name beginning on Nov. 27 and closing on Dec. 20. Two Broward County prisoner transport vans and a car collided, sending a deputy and inmates to a local hospital. The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday near West Atlantic Boulevard and North Andrews Avenue in Pompano Beach. A deputy sustained injuries but is expected to recover. Seven prisoners were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the crash.
